The UV Compact can provide an alternative to expensive Point of Use Filters (POU) in that the Compact can be quickly and easily deployed to an incident and once respolved be redeplyed to another location just as easily and quickly.  So insted of haveing to rely on expensive point of use filters the Challis Compact UV can be used again and again at a fraction of the cost.
